Munowar Hossain Khan (মো. মনোয়ার হোসেন) is a Bangladeshi politician and businessman. He was elected as a member of the Jatiya Sangsad from the Magura-1 constituency in the 2026 Bangladeshi general election as a candidate of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP).
Political career
Munowar Hossain Khan contested the 13th Jatiya Sangsad election held in February 2026 as the BNP nominee for Magura-1. According to results announced at the Election Commission’s Result Collection and Dissemination Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka, he won the seat by a large margin. He received 185,338 votes, defeating his nearest rival from Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami, who secured 89,691 votes.
His victory formed part of the overall results of the 13th national parliamentary election reported by Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha. Regional media also reported his win from Magura-1 following the completion of vote counting.
